Winter......

We are nestled in for winter with one pig, several chickens and a freezer full of homegrown veggies & meat. This is our down time, a little rest before spring gets here and we have too many projects planned. LOL

We take this time to reevaluate.... how the garden, animals and processing went for the year, dream big dreams of what we would like to do for the new season. We are hoping for a bigger garden, focusing on more specific veggies & a lot of tomato starts available for market. Fingers crossed we will double our meat bird production and add more pigs. My big dream is to have at least a small flower garden started & offer bouquets at the market. 

For now, we bundle up for chores, make sure the animals are warm & take this down time to rest our bodies and dream big dreams........Happy Winter....
